After losing seven of their first 11 games in the 2025-26 season, a bunch of trade rumors began around the league regarding Bruins top-six forward Pavel Zacha.

There were multiple teams linked to Zacha, especially teams that needed a center, and the Vancouver Canucks were one of the top teams.
The Bruins ended up snapping a six-game losing streak and began their own seven-game winning streak that came to an end on Thursday at the hands of the Ottawa Senators.
When the Bruins were on their winning streak, the rumors surrounding Zacha went quiet, and they are expected to stay that way.
Insider Pierre LeBrun stated that the Bruins see Zacha as a long-term fit for the Bruins depending on how things play out this year.
At the beginning of the month, Zacha was one of the top NHL trade targets according to Bleacher Report, but now NHL writer Lyle Richardson is putting the rumors to bed.

Richardson believes the Bruins won't trade Zacha

Richardson stated that he does not believe the Bruins are actually going to move on from Zacha.
"Pavel Zacha topped that list of trade candidates. The 28-year-old has regularly appeared in the rumor mill since the offseason, sitting fifth on our November Trade Targets list. A versatile two-way forward who can play center or wing, he's signed through 2026-27 with a cap hit of $4.8 million and an eight-team no-trade list,'' Richardson wrote.

"On Oct. 28, TSN's Pierre LeBrun confirmed the Vancouver Canucks had expressed an interest in Zacha during the summer. Three days later, Daily Faceoff's Anthony Di Marco suggested him as a possible trade target for the struggling Minnesota Wild. Since then, the Bruins went on a seven-game winning streak that vaulted them near the top of the conference. That has since cooled the speculation that was swirling around Zacha."

It will be interesting to see whether or not the Bruins are in a playoff spot come the NHL trade deadline or not.
