Patrice Bergeron got to witness Brad Marchand torment the Toronto Maple Leafs first hand, and now he saw it watching from the sidelines, and had some surprising comments on him eliminating the Toronto Maple Leafs once again.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have had a hard time living up to the hype whenever it comes to big games, and once again their "Core 4" was no where to be found in one of their biggest games.
Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and John Tavares were all ghosts out there on the ice for the Toronto Maple Leafs in one of their biggest games.
Now it's inevitable that there are going to be some big changes to their "Core 4" in the off-season. Something big has to change in Toronto, and there is a good chance it starts with Mitch Marner leaving.
The Toronto Maple Leafs got dominated the entire game on home ice, and lost 6-1. To say that the Leafs are going to have a busy off-season is an understatement, there is going to be some big changes coming there this off-season.

Patrice Bergeron Comments On Brad Marchand Eliminating the Leafs

Marchand played a big role in the Florida Panthers winning game 7 against the Leafs once again as he scored a goal and picked up two assists for three points.
Now Marchand is officially 5-0 in game 7s against the Toronto Maple Leafs and made NHL History as he became the first player to do so.
After beating the Maple Leafs, former teammate Patrice Bergeron had this to say about Marchand:
Patrice Bergeron on Marchand's big moments in Leafs series: ``No surprise! He always steps up and comes up clutch in the big moments. He's done it his whole career and is doing it again now. I'm really happy for all of his success right now.''
The Florida Panthers will now face off against the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Finals, and will look to make it back to the Stanley Cup Finals for the third straight year.
