Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, has officially completed a transaction with a defenseman by assigning him to the ECHL.
The Boston Bruins' former seventh-round pick (217th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, Ty Gallagher, has officallly just been involved in a transaction.
This 22-year old defenseman has been a member of the Providence Bruins since the 2024/25 AHL season.
This year thus far, Gallagher has endured just one game with Providence, accumulating zero points and a plus/minus of -2.
However, a recent statement by a Bruins reporter has unveiled that the Boston Bruins have officially completed a transaction involving this blueliner.
This transaction will see the Boston Bruins' AHL affiliate team, the Providence Bruins, loan their defenseman to the ECHL.
Bruins' Ty Gallagher makes his way to the ECHL
A new post on social media, via «X», by reporter Mark Divver revealed that Providence Bruins' Ty Gallagher will be making his way into the Maine Mariners organization for their first two games of the season.

Despite Gallagher's departure, Divver clarified that his time in the ECHL will be temporary.
Yet this time, it is uncertain as to why this transaction erupted.
