A new rumor has began surfacing the media, speculating that a Boston Bruins fan favourite prospect is expected to be involved in a major transaction.
At this time the Boston Bruins have begun to struggle with their lack of offensive talent.
We may only be two weeks into the NHL regular season, but fans and even analysts have began hitting the panic button already.
Their offensive production has been quite noticeable, with depth pieces showing up when needed most compared to key players like David Pastrnak, Elias Lindholm and Pavel Zacha.
A key fix to this may be by making a big acquisition, but within their own organization.

According to a recent report by Boston Hockey Now, the Bruins are on the verge of making a big splash.
That splash includes a call up of a fan favorite in Matt Poitras, or even somebody like Georgii Merkulov.
«As the Bruins opened the regular season, Eyssimont, as well as other depth players such as Jeffrey Viel, earned spots on the roster by beating out younger competition.
Offensive minded prospects Matthew Poitras, Fabian Lysell, Georgii Merkulov, all struggled in training camp. All were sent down to the AHL Providence, after not making of an argument that they were deserving of a spot on the NHL squad at the time. Neither did Matej Blumel nor Alexander Steeves for that matter.»

It's only a matter of time before a reinforcement gets sent to the Boston Bruins, and fans are hoping it's sooner than later.
