Rumor: Boston Bruins trade for New York Rangers former first-round pick

A new rumor has revealed that the Boston Bruins are set to complete a trade with the New York Rangers for a former first-round pick.
At this time, one of the Boston Bruins' top priorities should be to continue improving their prospect pool.
Since last season, the Bruins have evidently done a good job at doing that, as they have added an immense amount of young talents, such as James Hagens, Fraser Minten, William Zellers, Will Moore, and Cooper Simpson.
However, despite these additions, there is still a lot of room for the Boston Bruins to work with in attempt to building their prospect pool.
And an intriguing former first-round pick has just entered the rumor mill.
Boston Bruins speculated to pursuit New York Rangers' former first-round pick
New York Rangers prospect, Brennan Othmann, has been the subject of trade rumors as of late, and with the Boston Bruins currently in need of more young talents, they should undoubtedly consider pursuing him.
According to a new report by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the New York Rangers have had discussions with other teams regarding Othmann's longevity with the club.
Friedman stated:
"Othmann was sent down to AHL Hartford after failing to make the NHL team, and, since that occurred, there's been conversations with other clubs about his future. The Rangers have a lot on the wings and it simply may be that he needs a fresh start elsewhere."
Othmann is a young, highly skilled forward who also plays with some bite, which could definitely be very intriguing as a potential addition to Boston's roster.
That said, at this time, this young forward has yet to become a full-time NHL player, yet, when noting he is still only 22 years of age, there is still immense potential for him to shine within Boston.
