In the first game of the playoffs, the Toronto Maple Leafs lost to the Boston Bruins 1-5. The match was intense from the start, with Max Domi from the Maple Leafs and Brad Marchand from the Bruins exchanging words and hits even before the game began.

But Domi's aggressive move backfired when he got penalized in the second period, giving the Bruins a chance to score and widen their lead.

Despite the loss, Domi said,
"We tried to send a message, but it didn't work out. We still did some good things in the game, so we need to keep doing that."

Coach Sheldon Keefe wasn't happy about Domi's penalty, but he still supports his aggressive style.

He said,
"I don't want Max to change. He's an important player for us, and I like his intensity."

Keefe also hinted that the referees might be treating Marchand differently, saying,
"Their player might do the same thing, and we'll see if he gets punished. But I like Domi's energy."

The rivalry between Domi and Marchand is heating up, promising more excitement in the upcoming games.
