The Boston organization has officially announced the signing of a new Bruin.

As the Bruins continue their re-build, they have acquired and traded many talented faces, and today it was revealed they have officially signed a new player to the team.
The Boston Bruins have officially announced an unexpected signing this morning, March 21, and revealed their newest member to their AHL team, the Providence Bruins.
Providence Bruins' General Manager, Evan Gold, reported a new signing to the organization, a 24-year old defenseman, Chris Ortiz, in a two-way contract for the remainder of the AHL 2024/25 season.
The 24-year old found himself in ten games with Providence this season thus far, with a recorded two-assists on a Professional Tryout.
However, throughout his career so far, 5-foot-10, 180 pound defenseman has appeared in 34 AHL games, tallying one goal and six assists.
He always accumulated five goals and 34 assists within 45 ECHL games with the Wheeling Nailers this season.
