Following their 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings last night, the Boston Bruins made a huge announcement regarding forward Morgan Geekie.
With all the injuries that the Bruins are dealing with at this moment, they are relying on key players like Zadorov, Geekie, Pastrnak, and Zacha to carry the team right now.
Last night against the Los Angeles Kings, that's exactly what happened. The Bruins' big guys ended up showing up to play.
Boston is currently without some pretty key players, including Charlie McAvoy, Casey Mittelstadt, Elias Lindholm, Viktor Arvidsson, and Jordan Harris.
Elias Lindholm is reportedly close to returning back to action, as he is currently on the road trip with the Boston Bruins.
For the others, it's still going to be awhile before they return back to action.
Bruins make an announcement regarding Geekie
Geekie has been a goal-scoring machine for the Boston Bruins this season, and that was the case once again last night.
After entering the game tied for 2nd in league scoring with 14 goals, Geekie ended up scoring both of the Bruins' goals to help them end a two-game losing streak.
With that, Geekie is now once again tied for first in league scoring with Nathan MacKinnon, as both have 16 goals on the year.
