Just this morning, the NHL issued a direct announcement regarding Bruins forward Morgan Geekie.
Geekie has been off to a hot start for the Bruins so far, and it's not going unnoticed, with the NHL making an announcement regarding him.
After having a slow start to the season last year, things are different for Geekie this year, as he is already on a tear.
The NHL recognized this with an announcement today stating that Geekie has the most goals in the NHL dating back to January 12th, 2025.
He leads all players in goals since then with 31, and right behind him is teammate David Pastrnak with 30.

Geekie making his new contract look like a steal
After setting a new career high last year with 33 goals, Geekie signed a new deal in the off-season, and he is making it look like a steal right now.
Bruins' general manager signed Morgan Geekie to a six-year, $33 million contract extension in the off-season.
As of right now, Geekie is on pace to score 54 goals this season, and teammate David Pastrnak believes that he can hit the 50-goal mark one time in his career.
David Pastrnak on Morgan Geekie:
"He has everything to score 50 [goals] in this league. I keep telling him, keep reminding him. He has a heck of a shot.
"And he has the goal-scoring instinct. He's gonna get it one day."

Geekie currently sits tied for second in league scoring with eight goals on the season and leads all Boston Bruins players.
