A recent announcement revealed that three top prospects for the Boston Bruins are going to get a solid opportunity today.
The Boston Bruins had to have a roster submitted to the NHL on Monday, and because of this, they had to make roster cuts, sending players down to the American Hockey League.
Two players that were placed on waivers by the Boston Bruins are getting a solid opportunity today, and so is another fan favourite.
Poitras, Merkulov, and Blumel given solid opportunity
Today the Providence Bruins were running some drills during practice, and it looks like three players that just missed out on making the Bruins opening night roster, are being given a good opportunity.
Matthew Poitras, Matej Blumel, and Georgii Merkulov were all seen practicing on the Bruins top power play unit today.
Looks like one of Providence's PP units today has Steeves and Farinacci up top with Merkulov, Poitras, Blumel
