Kevin Barrett, a reporter for the QMJHL has reported that Moncton Wildcats captain Yoan Loshing has sustained an injury that could prevent him attending a Boston Bruins rookie camp.
The 20 year old center who remains undrafted stands at 5 foot 10 and 163 lbs. According to eliteprospects.com, he has great skating ability and ways to manipulate himself to outsmart his opponents.
He has played his last four seasons with the Moncton Wildcats and during last year's season, he played 59 games, scoring 37 goals with 33 assists for 70 points which happens to be the most he's ever scored in his career. He also has 30 penalty minutes and is a + 5.
There was a high probability that he was going to be invited by the Boston Bruins to attend their rookie camp. With this injury, it remains to be seen if he'll be able to attend or not but time will tell.
NHL training camp is set to begin in the middle of September on the Bruins continue to prepare.
