Tragic news has struck the Boston Bruins and Bruins fan base following a recent announcement.

Ever the trade deadline this year, there were a lot of rumours involving Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark.

After the Bruins got eliminated from the playoffs, trade talks started to heat up, and earlier this week it was confirmed by multiple insiders that the Boston Bruins will be trading Ullmark this off-season.

No one was sure of when it was going to happen, until yesterday it was confirmed that Linus Ullmark was traded to the Ottawa Senators.

With that being said, that means the goalie hugs will come to an end, and Bruins fans will no longer get to witness this which became a huge thing in the city of Boston following each win.

Goalie Hugs are no longer on the menu in Boston. Linus Ullmark is headed to the Ottawa Senators.

Didn't matter who played whether it be Swayman or Ullmark, after each win they would always hug each other.

Even though it was for the best to move on from Ullmark, this is a tradition that will be missed by the fans.
