Insider Proposes Major Trade for the Bruins

If Patrice Bergeron retires this season, the Bruins will be without their best weapon - an indisputable Selke finalist, and a player that lets their teammates shine.

There may be an opportunity, however, to get a Bergeron 'Lite' into the lineup.

Bruins Could Target Lindholm at the Deadline

The Calgary Flames disappointed expectations by far this season. The team didn't gel, and a lot of players expressed the will to longer be a Flame.

One of these players is Elias Lindholm, who will be in the final year of his contract with the Flames next season. The two-way pivot centre isn't quite Patrice Bergeron, but they definitely share their similarities.

BruinsNetwork has made a proposal for Don Sweeney to go after Lindholm, and it definitely makes a lot of sense.

No idea how likely a trade would be, but Boston could make a legitmate play for a first-line center and sign 29-year-old Elias Lindholm as a UFA next summer. Depends on cap space and a million other factors. Likely get four or five very good years out of him. #NHLBruins

While not related, it would also be cool to have two Lindholm's on the team!

Do you think Lindholm is the right piece for the Spoked B's?
