Chicago Blackhawks' Taylor Hall has a simple message when it comes to his teammate, Connor Bedard: Let the kid play. Bedard, the top pick in the latest NHL draft and considered the next generational talent, has been the center of significant media attention and interview requests.

Hall believes Bedard handles it well but feels that he shouldn't have to.

"He does way too many in-game interviews and stuff. I think that they just need to find a way to just let him play. But, I think he understands his role as a major ambassador for the game of hockey, and he handles it so well,"
Hall noted.

Despite the overwhelming media scrutiny, Bedard is not one to express a preference for less attention. Hall recognizes the pressure that comes with being a former first-overall pick himself, making him empathetic to Bedard's situation.
