Corey Perry under fire after locker room footage leaked following game 7 loss

The Edmonton Oilers were close to getting swept as they went down 3-0 in the series to the Florida Panthers, but almost pulled off a miracle as they came back to tie the series 3-3 and almost pulled off the reverse sweep. Ultimately the Oilers fell short losing to the Panthers in game 7.

Months after the finals happened a video has surfaced on social media that shows the Oilers locker room following the game 7 loss to the Panthers.

Corey Perry is under fire by fans as he is known around the league to be a Stanley Cup curse. Perry has made it to the finals five times and has only one the Stanley Cup one time in 2007 with the Anaheim Ducks. Fans took this opportunity to make fun of Perry for falling short once again.

The Florida Panthers were ultiamtely the better team in the series and were the Stanley Cup favourites heading in, attacking Corey Perry for falling short once again is not appropriate. Winning the Stanley Cup is one of the hardest things to do.
