Sam Bennett Stuns Fans With Latest Comments Following Cheap Shot Hit That Injured Anthony Stolarz

Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett has finally spoken out after injuring Anthony Stolarz in game one of the second-round, and his comments have stunned fans.
Bennett is known to a controversial player in the league, and is known for being a dirty player that will do whatever it takes for his team to win.
Well last night that was once again on display after he crashed the net and ended up hitting former teammate Anthony Stolarz in the head with his forearm, causing Stolarz to drop down to the ice.
Just 10 minutes after this happened, Stolarz was seen at the Maple Leafs bench puking during a commercial break, and was pulled from the game.
Later on it was revealed that Stolarz ended up leaving Scotiabank Arena on a stretcher and was taken to a local hospital.
This morning, it was revealed that the NHL Department of Player Safety is not going to punish Bennett for his actions, and he is once again getting away with another dirty play.
Bennett Speaks On Hit
Bennett has finally spoken on the hit that ultimately ended up injuring Stolarz last night and had this to say:
Sam Bennett on Anthony Stolarz- «I heard that he went to the hospital last night, and he's a good friend of mine. I reached out to him. He responded. Never want to see an injury like that. From my point of view, I'm just taking the puck the net. I didn't even know that we made contact until after.»
There was no response from the Maple Leafs players after this hit, but now they will have to turn to Joesph Woll if Stolarz is not good to go for game 2 which is set to take place on Wednesday night.
It will be interesting to see if there is a response from Leafs players on Bennett.
