Leafs Star Faces Allegations That Could Get Him Cancelled
(formerly known as Twitter) has shifted attention to an off-ice interaction involving the team's star player, Mitch Marner.
As recounted by a young fan, the incident unfolded during a public signing following the Maple Leafs' open training camp/practice.
The fan, who had eagerly anticipated an autograph, claimed to have been ignored by Marner in favor of another child of a different ethnicity.
'Bro, this guy LOOKED me in my eyes at a signing after one of those open practice training camps, looked at the white kid beside me (same age btw), signed like three things for him, and just completely walked past me and went to the next white kid.'
While there is no available footage or independent source verifying this interaction, the fan's account, if accurate, raises concerning questions about Mitch Marner's actions and the perception of fairness within the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
