The Vegas Golden Knights have made additions to their coaching staff by hiring Dominique Ducharme and Joel Ward as assistant coaches.

Ward, 42, brings a wealth of experience both as a player and coach. He served as the assistant coach for the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) over the past three seasons.

Prior to his coaching career, Ward enjoyed a successful NHL career from 2006 to 2018, playing 726 games and tallying 133 goals and 304 points with Minnesota, Nashville, Washington, and San Jose.

Ducharme, 50, joins the Golden Knights after a stint as the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens from 2020 to 2022. During his tenure, Ducharme guided the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup Final in 2021, showcasing his ability to lead a team to success on the grandest stage of the sport.



His experience and strategic acumen will undoubtedly benefit the Golden Knights as they strive for continued excellence in the upcoming season.
