A NHL Player Has Entered The Player Assistance Program
In a significant announcement today, the Washington Capitals and NHL disclosed that forward Evgeny Kuznetsov will be entering the NHL Player Assistance Program.
The National Hockey League Players' Association and NHL jointly declared his unavailability for an indefinite period while he receives care.
Kuznetsov, a former first-round pick, is 31 and has contributed six goals and 11 assists this season. Recognized for his notable shootout prowess, his entry into the assistance program reflects a commitment to his well-being.
We extend our best wishes to Evgeny for a successful recovery as he navigates through this challenging time.
