Bruins Blueliner Quickly Joins Elite Company

Boston has no shortage of top-end defensemen, two that have been added in the last year, and one, who has quickly joined elite Bruins company.

GM Don Sweeney has a lot of it to be thanked for, as he's built a strong defensive core through the draft (Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo) and also by swinging big trades (Hampus Lindholm and Dmitry Orlov).

Joining a Special Group of Past Bruins



Since being acquired from the Washington Capitals on February 27th, Dmitry Orlov has made an immediate impact on his new team. In his first 10 games, Orlov has registered 3 goals and 9 assists, putting him in a special group of previous players:
