During their second game of the season, the Boston Bruins ended up facing some tragic injury news. Now it was revealed that another injury ended up happening last night.
The Boston Bruins have been amazing under new head coach Marco Sturm, but last night they ended up losing one of their best players.
Hampus Lindholm, a key defenseman ended up leaving the game with an injury, and did not return.
UPDATE: Hampus Lindholm (lower body) will not return to tonight's game.
Despite the Boston Bruins losing a key defenseman, the Chicago Blackhawks also lost a member as well.
Blackhawks lost a forward to injury as well
In the past year, Jason Dickinson has faced his fair share of injuries, and last night it happened once again.
During the second game of the season, not only did the Boston Bruins face some injury news, but the Chicago Blackhawks did as well.
In the second period, the Chicago Blackhawks ended up losing Jason Dickinson, and he did not return.
Jason Dickinson will not return to tonight's game.
Seems like it was this hit that knocked Jason Dickinson out of the game
Bashill, the Blackhawks head coach ended up commenting on his injury following the game:
"I'll know more tomorrow. No real update yet. Obviously didn't finish the game, so that's not great. We'll see where it goes."
