Mitchell Miller has officially signed with another team
21-year-old defenseman, Mitchell Miller, has found a new team after a turbulent period in his hockey career.
Miller recently signed with HK 32 Liptovsky Mikulas in Slovakia. Last season, he faced backlash from fans regarding his history, leading to his complete absence from games at all levels despite signing with the Boston Bruins.
This summer, Miller and the team mutually agreed to terminate his contract. The defenseman was originally drafted 111th overall by Arizona in 2020, but was subsequently released when it was revealed that he had bullied a disabled black classmate for several years during grade school.
Now, he has the opportunity to restart his hockey journey overseas with HK 32 Liptovsky Mikulas.
