The BostonBruins are dealing with a huge amount of injuries across the board.

Bostonis already dealing with losing defenseman Zdeno Chara for the next four to eight weeks, add to that Patrice Bergeron, Charlie McAvoy, Urho Vaakananien and KevanMiller.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy met with the media on Monday morning and gave some updates on the four of them.

When it comes to Bergeron, Cassidy tried to go into as much detail as possible.

"He was meeting [with doctors] today, so we have nothing new. I know he was in a lot of pain, but I don't know if there's anything major which is good news. But I don't want to speculate. I just know that he's not coming back to Detroit."

Cassidy said that Miller is expected to return against the Detroit Red Wings while both McAvoy and Vaakananien will meet up with the team in Detroit. The B's head coach doesn't believe either will play against the Wings or even play on the weekend, but getting that back in practice will get them back into game shape.
