The Boston Bruins are hoping to bounce back from their overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks last night.
To do so, they'll have to beat a red hot ColoradoAvalanche team that's coming off back to back wins against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens.
Even though they welcome back Patrice Bergeron to practice today, head coach Bruce Cassidy has already ruled him out for tomorrow's game against the Avs.
"Red sweater, that's good," he said, via Bruins.com. "He participated in some line rushes. It wasn't a heavy contact practice. Won't play [Saturday], but once you have the red sweater on, you're that much closer. Monday (in Ottawa) now becomes more of a target day for us if there's no setbacks."
Cassidy added that while Bergeron won't play tomorrow, there's a strong chance BrettRitchie jumps back into the lineup.
