The Boston Bruins won a tight game last night as they ended their home and home with the Buffalo Sabres.

The win wasn't as easy as their 3-0 win in the first meeting as they registered a 3-2 win last night.
During the game you might have forgotten about Bruins' forward Jake DeBrusk as he was benched for the majority of the first period.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy explained why DeBrusk sat without any action.
"It's a privilege to put on the Bruins sweater every night," Cassidy said after the Bruins' 3-2 win over Buffalo. "You might not have your A game. But you've got to bring your B game to help the team win and be a good pro. That's a little bit of the message between periods. I didn't think there was enough of that of late. It wasn't always necessarily tonight. But it kind of festered itself tonight. We delivered it, moved on. You hope the player takes it to heart and doesn't take it personal."

DeBrusk answered the call pretty well as he set up the Bruins' third goal of the night.
The B's forward says he got the message and answered it best he could.
"I've done it since I've been here," DeBrusk said. "Anytime things like that have happened — I think it was my second shift of the game — anytime you don't get your feet wet at all, you obviously want to respond. You want to help the team. I think the shots were 2-6 or something like that. I think it was 1-0 for us after the first. I just wanted to help, maybe get some more offense going, maybe win some more puck battles. Just trying to figure out my game."
