The Boston Bruins missed out on John Tavares and Ilya Kovalchuk during the offseason and weren't able to add the offense they were hoping for.
As the Bruins sit right now, they have $16million in cap space for 2019-20 with no big money needed to be handed out besides possibly Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo.
This lines the Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney up for the opportunity to be players next summer too.
JoeHaggerty of NBC Sports brings up the possibility of the Bruins taking a run at Tyler Seguin.
Seguin was eligible to sign an extension with the Dallas Stars as of July 1st of this summer however it's been pretty quiet.
There's no doubt Seguin has incredible skill, however his work ethic is still being questioned and he still shows up late to practice occasionally.
Haggerty points out that Seguin could just be "a very good player on a bad team".
Would you like to see the Bruins take a run at Seguin?
