The Boston Bruins added a couple of guys who can help the top 9 during the NHL playoff run.
General manager Don Sweeney didn't believe he needed a home run because they'll be getting an elite player back eventually.
Forward David Pastrnak is currently sidelined because of surgery and Sweeney gave an update regarding the sniper on Monday when he met with the media.
"Will be in cast for two more weeks. After that he'll be fitted for a splint, will be a matter of comfort" for a return. Also said team doctors feel great about where Pastrnak is in recovery."
With no big addition at the deadline, Pastrnak will be welcome back when he's healthy.
