In recent news, former NHL player P.K. Subban, now working as a TV analyst, said something that upset many hockey fans during a segment on ESPN's studio show.

After a clip showed Jack Eichel cutting his stick with a saw, Subban made a joke that some people didn't like. He said,
"I'm not a carpenter, but I do carry around a hammer."
This caused a big reaction on social media and in the news.
After a segment showing Jack Eichel cutting his stick with a saw, ESPN's studio show saw P.K. Subban say "I'm not a carpenter, but I do carry around a hammer," Steve Levy say "Yes, you do! So I've heard," and Mark Messier just look into the camera.

No way PK Subban said this on ESPN

Some fans are even saying Subban should be fired from ESPN because of his comment. They think it was inappropriate for him to say that on TV.
Subban's joke has caused a lot of debate among fans. Some found it funny, but others thought it was wrong for him to say. They think Subban should be more careful about what he says, especially because he's on a big TV show like ESPN.
Now, people are waiting to see if ESPN will do anything about what Subban said. Some think he might get in trouble with his bosses.
Even though Subban had a great career in the NHL, with lots of points and penalty minutes, his recent comment has upset many fans. They want him to take responsibility for what he said.
