Former coach of the Winnipeg Jets tragically passed away at 44
The hockey community was struck with some tragic news following the passing of former coach for the Winnipeg Jets.
His former team the Manitoba Moose shared a heartfelt statement after learning about the passing of Bue who was only 44 years old.
"The Manitoba Moose and True North Sports + Entertainment are heartbroken by the passing of former Moose video coach Richard Bue. Our friend will be dearly missed by all those who had the fortune of knowing him. Our sincerest condolences go out to Richard's family, friends, and teammates."
Fans commented about the passing of Bue revealing his true colours and how many lives he touched while he was here.
"You could not meet or know a better person than this man. Even if you saw him for only 5 seconds, the rest of your day was instantly better. Heartbreaking that he has passed."
"Richard was one of the better humans I have ever had the opportunity to be around. He put a smile on my face every time I saw him," shared another fan.
