The Bruins are back in second place of the Atlantic Division after the Tampa Bay Lightning's win on Friday night.
This afternoon they host the Florida Panthers, a team they will see three times between now and the end of the season next weekend.
The difference in finishing in first or second in the division is playing either the New Jersey Devils or Panthers or the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round.
Jake DeBrusk will return to the lineup today. This will be his first game action since March 13. Brian Gionta will be a healthy scratch to make rook for DeBrusk.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy met with the media this morning and gave an update on some of his other injured players.
Defenseman Zdeno Chara and
Charlie McAvoy will not play today but will travel with the team on their three-game road trip to Philadelphia, Tampa and Florida.
Rick Nash will not travel with the team and it is still to be determined if
Sean Kuraly does.
