Leon Draisaitl's fate with the Bruins was just confirmed and it's surprising
Leon Draisaitl is set to start the 2024-2025 season, with his contract with the Edmonton Oilers expiring at the end of the year.
Newly-minted GM Stan Bowman, was asked about the top of Draisaitl and had nothing substantial to offer.
Bowman: 'Nothing negative to report' regarding Draisaitl contract talks https://thesco.re/3ypvMAT
While Bowman offers no concrete details on a deal between the two camps, you can't but feel that GM Don Sweeney let a chance fall through the cracks to obtain one of the best players in the NHL this off-season.
In 81 games, Draisaitl scored 106 points( 41 G, 65 A) with the Edmonton Oilers.
