NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun Predicts Bruins' Trade Deadline Move.

The Boston Bruins had a successful two game road trip with wins in Winnipeg and Minnesota and now wait to face the Vancouver Canucks at home on Tuesday.

As we now enter the month of February, it's time to hear all the speculation of what general manager Don Sweeney will do at the deadline.

The Bruins have been heavily attached to both Chris Kredier and Tyler Toffoli, however they might go in a totally different direction.

NHL insider Pierre LeBrun made his prediction of what the Bruins will do at the trade deadline and he points to a forward from the Anaheim Ducks instead.

LeBrun predicts the Bruins will ship out prospect Oskar Steen and a 2020 third-round pick to bring in Ducks' forward Ondrej Kase.

It would be more than a rental as the 24 year old winger is signed for an extra year and only carries a $2.6million cap hit per season.

Here's LeBrun's reasoning:

"I'm sure the Bruins would rather get their hands on Rickard Rakell but the Ducks aren't moving him unless it's a knocks-your-socks-off offer. Kase, 24, would still fill Boston's need for a right-shot winger and his $2.6 million cap hit through this season and next isn't exorbitant. You might remember that Kase was the player involved in the failed Justin Faulk trade back in September between Carolina and Anaheim. Which is not to suggest I think the Ducks are shopping Kase, I don't think they are. But Anaheim GM Bob Murray is disappointed in his team's performance this season. The word around the league is that he is very much listening on some hockey deals to shake up things. In a Kase deal, I think it's clear Murray would be looking for a young player in return and I feel Steen fits that bill."

Would you make this trade?
