The Boston Bruins are looking to bolster their secondary scoring this summer, it could come from Rick Nash if he's re-signed or it could come from the free agent market.
General manager Don Sweeney won't exactly have the biggest amount of wiggle room when it comes to free agency, depending on how much the cap goes up, the Bruins could be looking at about $8million-$13million in cap space.
If Sweeney and Nash don't come to an agreement, the team might have another former New York Ranger in mind.
According to Jimmy Murphy on Twitter, the team is interested in signing Michael Grabner and he states the team had interest in him during the trade deadline and also during free agency in 2016.
Grabner brings speed, the ability to put the puck in the net and can also play on the penalty kill, some would even argue he's a better signing than Nash.
The downfall when it comes to Grabner is that he's never performed in the playoffs with just six goals in 31 games.
Would you like to see the Bruins sign Grabner?
