Brad Marchand continues to be one of the top producers for the Boston Bruins but he may be concerned he's still not 100% since surgery this summer.

Marchand Breaks the Silence

Connor Ryan of Boston.com recently spoke with Marchand regarding his double-hip surgery from only nine months ago, and even though he returned just five months later, he still doesn't feel himself.

Per Ryan:

''I thought I'd feel better now than I do, to be honest with you,'' Marchand said Wednesday. 'I think it's been great. It's been really relieving that we have the team we have and we're as deep as we are, because it definitely takes pressure off. But I thought I'd be kind of where I was last year, right now. And I don't necessarily feel like that. So I still have little ways to go before the playoffs.''

It's definitely concerning that Marchand himself, would admit that he's still not fully recovered from the major operation. At the same time, the Bruins winger has 26 goals and 39 assists in 59 games, so a healthy Marchand would make this Boston team even scarier come playoff time.
