The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney are always in search looking for that top six help.
Boston has relied heavily on the top trio of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak, while second line center David Krejci has had a different wingers seemingly every month.
Those talks could center around Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad who NHL insider Elliotte Friedman says is drawing plenty of interest despite being injured.
The Bruins only have $1million in cap space so they would have to send a somewhat significant salary back to make room for Saad's $6million cap hit.
Saad had 11 goals and 19 points in 36 games so far this season before getting sidelined, he's expected back soon.
