Video going viral of Oilers star Connor McDavid being harassed by fans

It's no surprise fans get excited when they spot someone like McDavid's caliber in public as he is one of the best NHL players in the world, but fans took it too far and harassed him following the Oilers game 6 win.

McDavid was spotted making a beer run with his wife Lauren to celebrate with the Oilers after booking their ticket to the Stanley Cup Finals, when fans decided it would be a good idea to harass them.

McDavid and his wife were just trying to load their car up with the beer when a group of Oilers fans started to record him, and even started to touch him, and sit in the trunk of his car, when McDavid was done and trying to leave the one fan forced him to give him a hug. Since being posted on social media the video has been going viral.

A lot of fans since seeing this video has called for McDavid to get private security when going into public. McDavid is one of the highest paid forwards in the NHL and many fans were surprised to see that he doesn't have a private security team.
