David Pastrnak scored one of the easiest goals of his NHL career last night.
A Nick Foligno dump-in took a crazy bounce right to a waiting Pasta, who was all alone in the slot with, as Connor Hellebuyck was behind the net to stop the puck.
Postgame, Pastrnak spoke to the media about his incredibly lucky - and easy - 22nd goal of the season.
''All I could think of was 'just hit the net.' I knew [Hellebuyck] was going to make an effort to come back, so I was just hoping I wouldn't hit him.''
‘'That was a nice one for sure to get. You don't get many of those.''
Pastrnak's goal jump started an incredible Boston comeback, as they scored three unanswered to beat the Jets 3-2 to improve to 26-4-2 on the season.
