Former World Junior Champion Michele Basso has sadly passed away at the age of 26 after a courageous fight against bone sarcoma, a form of bone cancer. Michele Basso, renowned for his unwavering commitment to hockey, proudly represented Italy in various championships and was an active player in the Italian league. Former member of the Italian World Junior Championship team and defenseman in the Italian league, Michele Basso, has regrettably left us at the age of 26 after a prolonged battle with illness.
