A ridiculous trade offer between the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers involving Leon Draisaitl has emerged
In one of the most ridiculous trades ever, this one should've been posted on CapFriendly(R.I.P) so we can point, laugh, and lament some Internet GMs.
One of these very smart people decided to make a trade proposal between the Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins.
Of course, the Boston Bruins in return would receive Leon Draisaitl, one of the best Centers and forwards in the NHL currently.
The person, who is currently an internet GM and thankfully nowhere near an NHL roster proposed sending Stan Bowman, Joonas Korpisalo(!!??!!!), and 1st round pick in a future NHL draft.
So, this trade would send the Oilers, a 2nd or 3rd string goalie elsewhere and a 1st round pick for one of the best NHL forwards of all time.
Leon Draisaitl's 2023-2024, 106 points( 41 G, 65 A) and a +26.
Joonas Korpisalo's 2023-2024 21-26-4, 3.27 GAA, and a .890 save percentage.
There needs to be considerably more going back to Edmonton and not just Korpi and a 1st round pick.
