Back in 2013, the Boston Bruins traded Tyler Seguin, Rich Peverly and Ryan Button to the Dallas Stars for Loui Eriksson, Joseph Morrow, Reilly Smith, and Matt Fraser. Boston fans were really confused on why, and it looks like we just discovered the reason.
Back then, Tyler was young and had a lot of potential. Seguin, in his time with the Bruins, had 121 points in 203 games, including on 67-point season (29 goals, 38 assists).
He then developed into a star, but the trade had to be done because of that. Seguin learned from that, though. He matured, signed a big contract with Dallas, and is now getting married, so good for him.
