We all know Patrice Bergeron is as genuine as it's comes but a recent story from the AHL Bruins head coach, might top them all.

Unheard Of Leadership

Providence's Ryan Moungel recently shared something about Bergeron that is unheard from captains in the NHL.

According to Moungel, Boston's captain has routinely reached out to not only prospects in the organization, but the non-touted ones as well. Per NHL.com beat writer Patrick Williams:

A Patrice Bergeron story as told by Providence head coach Ryan Mougenel.

He will reach out to young players in Providence who are struggling in some form. Not just a top prospect, but rank-and-file players.

Mougenel: ''That's just who he is. He is as genuine as they come.''

This almost makes so much sense because of how the Bruins have consistently had that ‘'winning culture'' they're known for. Something that been credited to guys like Bergeron, Zdeno Chara and David Krejci.

It's quite outstanding the lengths that Bergeron takes to keep that culture within the franchise.

It proves that there's so much more that goes into building a winning culture for the franchise, and not surprising that it's coming from Patrice Bergeron.

Class act.
