In Boston, exciting news broke on Thursday as the Bruins announced David Pastrnak's selection for his fourth All-Star appearance.

Pastrnak, a key forward for the Bruins, has been a force in all 36 games this season, leading the team in goals, assists, and points.

As the Bruins geared up for their matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night, Pastrnak showcased his prowess with an impressive record of 22 goals and 28 assists, accumulating 50 points.

Hailing from Czechnia, Pastrnak's stellar performance extends beyond the team level. He currently holds the sixth position in the NHL for both goals and points, while also securing the 13th spot for assists.

Over his impressive career spanning 10 seasons and 628 games with the Bruins, Pastrnak has accumulated 323 goals and 344 assists, totaling 667 points.

Pastrnak's history with the All-Star Team adds to the anticipation. Having been selected in 2019, 2020, and 2023, he left an indelible mark in the 2020 game, earning the All-Star Game MVP title.

His standout performance included four goals and two assists during the Atlantic's semifinal win over the Metropolitan team and their subsequent loss in the final to the Pacific team.

As the excitement builds, it's worth noting that the 2024 NHL All-Star weekend is scheduled to take place from Feb. 1-3 at Scotiabank Arena, the home rink of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Pastrnak's inclusion in the All-Star lineup further solidifies his status as a standout player in the league.
