The Boston Bruins, like several other clubs, have only a few players under contract until the 2025-26 season, which is quickly approaching. This might be beneficial or negative depending on who the players under contract are.
The Bruins presently have six players under contract through 2025-26, which is tied with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres for the fewest. The Tampa Bay Lightning have the most players under contract, with ten.
Charlie Coyle, Pavel Zacha, David Pastrnak, Charlie McAvoy, Hampus Lindholm, and Brandon Carlo are all signed for the foreseeable future. Pastrnak, McAvoy, and Lindholm have already inked contracts that cover the 2027-28 season. Carlo is designated as a UFA in 2027-28.
