The 2023-24 season has been a pleasant surprise for the Boston Bruins, who haven't faltered despite the retirement of key players Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. Undefeated by the challenges, the team has seen several players step up, with Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman forming the league's top goaltending tandem.

As the trade market beckons, the Bruins are eyeing significant acquisitions, with Calgary Flames' Elias Lindholm and Noah Hanifin on their radar. However, three players are deemed untouchable leading up to the March 8th deadline:

Matthew Poitras:

Currently showcasing his prowess with Team Canada in the World Juniors, Poitras has emerged as the standout young talent for the Bruins. With 13 points in 27 games, the rookie demonstrates a promising 200-foot game, hinting at continued success upon his return.

Jeremy Swayman:

The younger of the goaltending duo, Swayman, has attracted attention but remains a vital part of Boston's future. As a restricted free agent next season, the 25-year-old goalie, boasting a 2.22 GAA and .928 Sv.%, is a cornerstone for the Bruins, likely securing a long-term contract extension.

John Beecher:

While not making waves like Poitras, Beecher is steadily developing in Boston. As a former first-round pick, the team sees him as a key piece for the future. Despite limited playing time this season, the Bruins plan to nurture Beecher's growth patiently, envisioning a more prominent role once the likes of DeBrusk and van Riemsdyk transition out.
