There seems to be a consensus among Bruins fans that Jim Montgomery made the wrong decision for his defense for game six against the Panthers.
Wrong Guy In? Wrong Guy Out?
Fluto Shinzawa revealed that head coach Montgomery would be sitting Matthew Grzelcyk in favour for Connor Clifton.
''Connor Clifton is in. Matt Grzelcyk is out. Charlie McAvoy is fine.‘'
However, Bruins Twitter was very quick to point out that Montgomery was taking the wrong guy out of the lineup, and that Derek Forbort should be the guy put in the press box.
Check out some of the best reactions here:
It's true that Forbort's penalty killing hasn't completely outshined everything else in his game like it did last postseason. Also, Grzelcyk's puck moving ability is visibly missed from the defense when he hasn't played in the series.
What do you think of Jim Montgomery's decisions for what realistically should be considered a must-win game six on the road?
