This week, Jeremy Swayman of the Boston Bruins was interviewed on the Empty Netters Podcast. During the interview, Swayman was asked who he models his game after, and he responded with an assortment of names.

"I like to look at different goalies and model my game after multiple different goalies. Definitely, Holtby, I was looking at the Carey Price's, the Ben Bishop's, Tuukka Rask's, Peeka Rinne's and like Jonathan Quick's obviously."

Covering a ton of different styles and a range of puck stoppers.

Swayman also added that he was a visual learner,

"I saw them and the tendencies that they had and how they accepted plays and just their compete level, their skating ability, all-out effort to stop the puck, I just wanted to model my game after that."

Jeremy Swayman is not your "cookie cutter goaltender" according to him, he just does whatever it takes to stop the puck, however he can. It is when he has the most fun. "I just black out and have the most fun."
