Milan Lucic was as clutch as it came in the postseason when he spent with the Boston Bruins; however, his incredible record was finally broken last night.

Prior to game five against the Panthers, Shawn Hutcheon of The Fourth Period shared that Patrice Bergeron had an opportunity to pass the Bruins' record held by Looch.

Captain Comes Up Clutch... Again

With Bergeron making his 2023 postseason debut on Wednesday night, he did just that when he tied the game at 3-3 early in the third period. As per NHL Public Relations:

* Patrice Bergeron (11-14—25 in 37 GP) needs one goal to surpass Milan Lucic (11-7—18 in 25 GP) for the most in potential series-clinching games by a Bruins skater.

Unfortunately, the captain's return was spoiled by Florida, as they evaded elimination with a Matthew Tkachuk overtime goal. Game six is set for Friday night in Sunrise, with a 7:30 pm EST puck drop.
