Don Sweeney has silenced many of his critics with what he's accomplished at the Trade Deadline for the Boston Bruins, including the biggest steal in the entire NHL for possibly the second consecutive year.

Fits Like a Glove

Since joining the Bruins on February 23rd, it's safe to say that Dmitry Orlov has exceeded any expectations that fans had prior to seeing the defenseman in the Black and Gold.

While averaging 25:11 of ice time in 19 games with Boston, the 31-year-old stat line is as follows:

3 goals
11 assists
4 PP points (1G)
1 SH point
36 shots
19 blocks
43 hits
+5 rating

Since February 25th (his first game with Boston), Orlov is 14th among NHL defenseman in points, while he is tied for third most goals and ninth most assists.

Not only has Orlov been a treat to watch defensively, but he's fit in so well that he's producing at a rate he never has in his 11-year career. Through 62 games split between the Capitals and Bruins, he now has 6 goals and 27 assists.
