Where the Bruins' power play has lacked, the penalty kill has picked it up all season long, but even more so the last 10 games, as it has put up insane numbers.

Absurd Streak for the PK

Even without Derek Forbort for those 10 games as he broke his foot blocking a shot on March 16th in Winnipeg, the Bruins penalty kill has gone 42 for 45, or 93.3%! And as Jackie Redmond of The NHL Network shares, Boston's PK is on an impressive streak.

Jim Montgomery's squad hasn't allowed a power play goal against in its past six games, killing off 28 straight.

The last team to score with the man advantage against them was the Montreal Canadiens. Back on March 23rd, the Habs scored both their goals on the power play in a 4-2 loss to the Bruins. The only other team to score one against Boston in those 10 games was the Minnesota Wild on March 18th.

What makes the Bruins penalty kill special, is that it's been lead by two of the best to ever do it in Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, and valuable depth players such as Tomas Nosek, Charlie Coyle, Derek Forbort and Brandon Carlo.

Boston's penalty kill ranks first in the NHL at 86.9% this season, the Carolina Hurricanes are in second at 84% and the Dallas Stars close behind at 83.2%.
