Along with the latest update on David Krejci, there was also developments on two other key Bruins players from Friday morning's skate.

Rest Day or Injury Related?

According to multiple reports, Boston was without number one defenseman Charlie McAvoy and starting goaltender Linus Ullmark at practice.

As per Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic:

''Linus Ullmark and Charlie McAvoy are not participating in the AM skate.''

Ullmark has started every game of the series so it's no shock that he took practice off, which really isn't out of the ordinary for the 29-year-old.

As for McAvoy, from what head coach Jim Montgomery shared after the overtime loss in game five, it's probably more of a ‘'keeping fresh'' element for the star defender.

''He's a horse back there, and he doesn't need a lot of rest. 20 seconds on the bench, and he's like a Clydesdale - you let him out of the barn again.''

- Jim Montgomery

Let's chalk it up to rest because I doubt either guy will be out of the lineup for a pivotal game six in Florida.
